Zavtra Byla Voyna plot
We are in the year 1940. A small provincial town. A nine-year-old schoolgirl reads poems by the exiled poet Sergey Yesenin. Soon her father is arrested, because he is accused of being an enemy of the people. The girl is made miserable at school and she commits suicide. Shortly after, the Second World War begins for Russia and almost all schoolchildren from then will be consumed by the fires of war.
