The Prisoner or: How I Planned to Kill Tony Blair plot

In September 2003, Iraqi journalist Yunis Khatayer Abbas and his brothers are arrested by US soldiers. It is still unclear why they are being detained. They end up incarcerated for nine months in the infamous Abu Ghraib prison, wrongly suspected of plotting an attack on British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In The Prisoner, Yunis tells his story calmly and not without the ability to put things into perspective. Some of the more shocking elements of the - now controversial - range of interrogation techniques that are unleashed on them are depicted with cartoons by director Petra Epperlein.
