Musa moves to Istanbul to start a new life as a budding muezzin at a local mosque. In the new flat he meets the beautiful neighbor Clara, a Catholic nurse. While Musa does not want to acknowledge his infatuation at first, he falls head over heels for her and sees how his whole life is controlled by her.
