"Even now I can hear preparations for my execution"
A young woman is sentenced to death for murdering a man who had blackmailed her family; despite persisting in being trapped. Her fiancé, a doctor experimenting with reviving the dead, turns out to be the government's hangman. He is also assigned to flip the electric chair switch when his fiancé is strapped into it. A famous criminologist, who believes in the young woman's innocence, rushes to investigate this murder case and get her released before the date of execution.
