Kvitebjørn Kong Valemon plot

"An Enchanting Beauty. A Princely Beast. An Epic Tale."

In the kingdom of Summerland, where the flowers bloom forever, the handsome young King Valemon refuses to marry an evil witch. As punishment for this refusal to make an alliance with evil, the witch casts a spell on him, turning Valemon into a formidable-looking polar bear. He flees north to the icy kingdom of "Winterland" where he falls in love with a beautiful young princess who can see through the polar bear's dangerous exterior and see the goodness within. It's then up to the princess to thwart the witch's evil plans, rescue Valemon, and break the Polar Bear King's icy spell.

A nice fairy tale with a princess and a polar bear, although the latter is clearly someone wearing a bear suit, and the bear is not very convincing with his roaring and waving his paws. It seems to me that the target group overlooks this.

Quite a lot of progress has been made in the film history of the polar bear since the time of this film. For example, the difference between the Iorek Byrnisson of The Golden Compass (2007) and that of His Dark Materials (2019-2022). But the best polar bear is clearly that of Timmy Failure (2020). Even though it is only imaginary.
