Wonderfully wrong and very bland. A very strange thing happened to me a few years ago. I was listening to U2's Achtung Baby album when, in the song The Fly I believe, I heard Bono do something crazy with his voice and suddenly I realized that his voice is very similar to that weird voice of Zed from Police Academy . That was a strange sensation. Since then I can't even listen to U2 without thinking about that weird Zed.

I think he's a bit like it too.

Oh yeah.

(Hééé) We've all seen them before, so if I get the chance now, I'll take them again. It's not great humor, it relies heavily on recognizable characters who do their typical thing every time, but within that concept there are some decent jokes.

It also helps that bad guy Zed is introduced in this movie. I wouldn't call it well acted, but his character is memorable of course. Furthermore, the humor is often very bland, but here and there a dash of creativity can be discerned.

I don't think this is much better or worse than the first part. It's just smooth, easy comedy that barely stays with you, but it's over in no time and never really gets boring. Simple but solid filler, and since it's not much in terms of real comedy these days (in quantity) it's not wrong to grab something in between.

Wow, pure nostalgia. It's really nothing more. Strange and funny really how dated humor can be. Might also have something to do with age. It is mainly the stereotypical types that do it.

Zed is also a nice addition as his alter ego Sweetchuck also comes up, both not yet as police officers, but it is already a nice introduction. No Harris here, but Mauser, well, I can live with that, although Harris remains memorable.

All in all it remains entertaining and is certainly within the lines of the 1st film. A lot of repetition, but sometimes fun with the kids. This is by no means worse than, say, FC De Kampioenen.
