Eve Dönüs plot
Turkey in the late 1970s. Mustafa and Esma are a young couple trying to survive in turbulent times. They themselves want nothing to do with the political riots in the country and are initially very happy when the army commits a coup d'état on September 12, 1980. Mustafa fully understands the many arrests and imprisonments that follow. But then he himself is arrested, on suspicion of membership in a communist group. Nobody seems to believe in his innocence and soon a nightmare begins for Mustafa that seems to have no end.
