There you have it, Mr. Klaus Kinski, always nice to see in these types of films because he has the perfect looks for it. His facial expressions and appearance contribute to offering something more to the story. In addition, an attractive female cast who offer an aura of mystery to the viewer through their roles. Margaret Lee plays Kinski's wife and is one mystery. Is she really dead or does she have a master plan in her mind? Annabella Incontrera plays Liz, Margaret's lesbian friend, and Christiane Krüger plays Christine, who comes into Kinski's life very strangely and suddenly. She just comes to his house to shower, relax and also has her own agenda. The ladies can also be seen naked together with Barbara Nelli, Kinski's secretary. The story is well constructed and is unpredictable despite Kinski's cast. This contributes to the fact that the film has sufficient tension and remains fascinating until the surprising climax in the church. There are a few cheap-looking scenes, such as the car crash with the train and the opening scene in the Swiss Alps. 7/10
