Im Banne des Unheimlichen plot
Sir Oliver Ramsey dies in a plane crash. As he is carried in his coffin to his grave, a loud, scary laugh comes from his coffin. Journalist Peggy Ward witnesses this and decides to write a piece about it. Shortly afterwards, the Ramsey family's attorney Merryl is murdered by a mysterious figure wearing a skull mask. Sir Cecil, Sir Oliver's brother, is convinced that his brother has returned to kill him. Inspector Higgins is assigned to the case and teams up with journalist Peggy to try to solve the mystery.
