Broken Trail plot

Oregon, 1898. Print Ritter, his cousin Tom Harte and Heck Gilpin are to deliver a herd of about 500 horses to Sheridan, Ohio. They unwittingly become the protectors of five abused and abandoned Chinese girls. Their efforts to protect the girls are complicated by the fact that they encounter several outlaws along the way, including the ruthless 'Big Ears', who plan to kidnap the girls and deliver them to the brothel owner 'Big Rump' Kate.
