The King Maker plot

"A warrior's path. A king's destiny."

1547, the 'lucky seeker' Fernando Da Gamma, leaves Portugal. He sets out for the East, to find his father's murderer and to make his fortune like many others. His plans threaten to fail if the ship he is sailing on sinks. The lone survivor, he washes up on a tropical beach. There he is captured by Arab soldiers, who sell him into slavery. He is bought by a woman from Portugal, who turns out to be his salvation.
