Bill Rago is an advertising executive who is fired one day. But then he finds work again: teaching soldiers thinking abilities. Arriving at the camp he starts teaching them about simple books, but gradually books like Hamlet are also discussed.

Mediocre film about an unemployed man who goes to work as a teacher in the army. A rather standard teacher/student film with a predictable course and poorly developed characters. Slightly comical in tone and although it doesn't get really annoying, the film goes on too long. Danny Devito doesn't do anything wrong in the lead role.
