La Vie avec Mon Père plot

Paul and Patrick are brothers, but they only have their surname Agira in common. The carefree bon vivant Paul works without much success on a novel and lives at the expense of his girlfriend. Patrick, the manager of a pharmaceutical company, is in complete control of both his professional and personal life. On a warm autumn evening, their father François Agira - once a successful writer - reappears. François Agira looks ragged, is financially ruined and is physically broken. While the three men are forced to live under the same roof, the brothers try to save their father from complete destruction.
