"Watch your wallet! Hold on to your girl! There's a daffy raddles on the loose!"
Ogden Spencer Trulow III is a wealthy kleptomaniac, who became so because of his love for a girl. His psychiatrist advises him to find another girl and Ogden stumbles upon Sally Martin. However, she turns out to be involved in planning a theft of a precious piece of jewelry.

Nothing wrong with the pace, but even more so with the "highly resistible" lead actor, who reminds me of Donald O'Connor minus his talent. I can well imagine that this film is based on a script written before Bob Hope but rejected by him (including Willie Best and Jack Norton in exactly the same roles as in Hope's The ghost breakers), and although Hope and his "gag writers" might have been able to make something of it, I think he has to agree. Highlights are the nice role of Veronica Lake and Bracken's magic trick with an expensive pearl necklace, the rest is lame.
