Gerumaniumu no Yoru plot

In "Germanium no Yoru", based on a novel by Hanamura Mangetsu, the stoic Rou returns after years to the Christian monastic community where he grew up and was sexually abused. He says he is looking for shelter because he is said to have committed a violent crime. He participates in life in the remote community of which sexual abuse is still a part. Rou struggles with existential questions and challenges religion by force.
