Good film about a young writer who, after breaking up with his girlfriend, moves in with his grandmother and meets the neighbors across the street. Little story, but it is also about the three main characters who are wonderfully played by Adam Brody, Meg Ryan and Kristen Stewart. A pleasant pace and this feel-good film is actually full of beautiful moments and good dialogues.

ps I don't think this poster really fits the movie.

Saw it at the time, and then had a reasonable impression of it. But I found it a bit disappointing in the review this week. Ok, the acting and camera work is pretty good, and there's a lot of drama in the story, but I thought it didn't come off a bit this time. What is perfect is the wonderfully calm pace of the film. Perhaps strange to come up with that idea with all the dramatic developments, but that was the first thing that came to my mind.

This movie just isn't for me in every way.

The story has good potential and flows well together. However, the storyline is a bit messy. His grandmother, Paige and Eric are pushed into the background when they could have played a bigger role. The relationship between Carter and Lucy is also somewhat messy and unrealistic.

All in all, an entertaining movie that looks pretty good. For me a tight 6/10 (3*)
