Reunion plot
"Their friendship should have lasted a lifetime..."
In 1933 in Stuttgart, the boys Henry Strauss and Konrad von Lohenburg are the closest of friends. Henry is the son of a well-known doctor and Konrad's family belongs to the German nobility. After Hitler comes to power in 1933, Henry and his family flee to the United States. In 1988 Henry returns to Germany and then has some surprises for Konrad.
