L'Araignée de Satin plot

France, 1920s. Solange returns as a ballet teacher to a girls' boarding school where she herself was once taught. There she is reunited with Marthe, the head teacher, with whom she used to have an affair. Solange is emotionally unstable and undergoes both drug addiction rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital therapy. At the same time, one of the students returns after an unexplained absence and although she brings a police officer to protect her personally, she is found dead some time later. The charged boarding school atmosphere where love between the girls and jealousy predominate turns out to be a good climate for murder.
