Nihonkai Daikaisen plot
Report of the Russo-Japanese War, a war that took place from 1904 to 1905 and resulted from the conflict of interest between Russia and Japan in Manchuria and Korea. The Japanese began hostilities with an action at Port Arthur against the Russian fleet after Russia refused to withdraw from the Liau-tung Peninsula and cease economic penetration into Korea. Against the background of this feat of arms, the Japanese Major Genjiro Akashi tried secretly to establish contact with the Russian Bolsheviks.
