The Shadow Dancer plot

Weldon Parish is one of the great American writers, but he has withdrawn to the Italian countryside. There he enjoys the peace, wine, horses and the company of his three beautiful daughters. He immediately expels any journalist or publisher who tries to find him. Jeremy Taylor recently joined a New York publisher and is assigned to visit and speak to Parish. Once he arrives at him, Parish does everything he can to get the young man away, but he soon realizes his games and decides to stay, also because he immediately falls for one of the beautiful daughters.
