Kod Amidze Idriza plot
"The story of a man who came to fix a bolier, but ended up fixing people's hearts"
There is peace in Sarajevo, and in the Bystrik district there is no sign of a destroyed house or foreign soldier. At home, the elderly couple Idriz and Sabira, everything seems peaceful. One day their cousin Fuke comes by to fix the boiler and have a chat. No one talks openly about the past, but there is a sad atmosphere. If Fuke's car won't start, he has to stay overnight with his aunt and uncle. Then we find out that Idriz and Sabira have lost their son. Fuke's presence soothes their silent sorrow. Nothing exciting happens, people drink coffee and chat with the neighbors. The couple's grief is just the tip of an iceberg.
