A green beret joins a new unit, whose commander is to say the least reckless. The commander has the hero arrested by the military police, but the jeep is ambushed by the Viet Cong. The green beret escapes and goes in search of his commander.

Watched it today on DVD (I managed to get it via Amazon) and must say I enjoyed it.
It wasn't great, just a fun action movie.
This film has little story or lead-up, as it begins at the same time as shootouts and explosions between the Americans and the Viet Cong.
As the film progresses, 1 person is captured not only by the Vietcong, but he is actually being chased by his own men (the Americans) because he beat up the commander.
We also see chases and also shootouts, the ending was a bit vague and also sad that he was shot I wouldn't have chosen it that way, but all in all I enjoyed it, although of course there are many more films like this.
