¡Que Viva Mexico! - Da Zdravstvuyet Meksika! plot
Documentary by Eisenstein about Mexico, its culture and its history. The documentary consists of three parts: Sandunga, Manguei, and Fiesta. The first part explores the precolonial world of the Incas, observing its ancient architecture, religious and cultural practices. In the second part, a murderer is punished for his act in an unusually vivid and barbaric way. The third part shows the (cinematographic) beauty of a bullfight. Photos and stills are also shown from the unfinished fourth part of the film, titled Soldadera, which deals with the 1910 revolution.
