World War III plot

"A World On The Brink Of Disaster"

Russian paratroopers land in Alaska to sabotage an oil pipeline in response to a US grain embargo. They come across Col. Jake Caffey, who is stationed at a pumping station. A third world war is imminent and the leaders of both countries are playing a cat-and-mouse game in order not to lose face and to avoid a war.
