10.5 plot

Seattle is rocked by an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale. A significant quake which topples the Space Needle and causes a lot of damage. dr. Hill (Kim Delaney) is a seismologist and geologist. She is called to work. She is ambitious and has her answers and judgments ready quickly. If there is a new quake of 8.4 on the Richter scale, she believes it is not an aftershock, but a separate earthquake. She thinks that there are many more cracks in the crust at a distant depth that cause a chain reaction. However, her boss doesn't want to hear any of this.
