Photographer JC Cale is found guilty of murdering a young woman. Beth Spinella, the agent in charge of his case, happens to be the victim's best friend and sets out to expose Cale as a sex-crazed murderer. The deeper she plunges into his world, the more the dividing line between her work and her own fantasies becomes blurred.
