A Different Kind of Christmas plot

Elizabeth Gates is a lawyer who is saddled with a nasty case. Ever since her mother died, her father has devoted himself to creating a Santa Claus Valhalla for neighborhood children. His house became a kind of Christmas castle where all the children get presents and can meet Santa Claus. However, the neighborhood and therefore also the municipality, is not so happy with this philanthropist. They accuse him of exploitation and hand the case over to Elizabeth, who must stop her father. Elizabeth's son, however, is increasingly impressed by his grandfather.

For once this is a pretty good movie, too bad that both the so-called comedy and the light drama story never really come across smoothly.

You could certainly find them worse!

Reasonably entertaining to have seen once. Only you should not see these kinds of movies too often. The story is quite clichéd, but nevertheless nice to get through the holidays.
