The Carpenter plot

"He's turning their dream house into a nightmare!"

Alice and her unfaithful husband Martin move into a quaint old wooden house that will require quite a bit of refurbishment. While Martin engages in flirting, a motley crew of handymen try to tidy up the house, but to no avail. After some time, Alice discovers that an ominous and inexplicable apparition lurks in the basement of the old house. It is the spirit of the carpenter who built the house forty years ago.
