Fabian plot
"He has luck with women and not a penny in his pocket."
Berlin 1931. Fabian (Hans Peter Hallwachs) works at a small commercial agency and specializes in cigarette advertising. Money and career are unimportant to him. He spends the nights with his best friend in clubs and bars. He is lucky with the women and this time falls for a woman who knows exactly what she wants. Then he loses his job. His girlfriend makes a career in the film industry and leaves him, and his best friend commits suicide.
