La Colline aux Mille Enfants plot

Clara (Jip Wijngaarden) is a Jewish woman who arrived in 1941 in the protestant town of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon. Many more Jewish people in hiding will follow there. The police commissioner orders their arrest, the pastor preaches compassion for the refugees and the village teacher refuses to reveal the Jewish identity of his students to the authorities.
