The Big Take plot
"It's murder to make a movie"
Douglas Brown (Robert Forster) is a movie star who wakes up one day to find he is being blackmailed by someone he doesn't know. He then decides to hire a private detective to find out who is behind this. The detective seems to be doing well but finds the wrong person. That person is an aspiring director and thinks Douglas Brown would like to star in his new movie. However, that is a misunderstanding and the start of many problems.
