Documentary about the life, thinking and work of the leader of the National Socialist Movement. Using archive material consisting of photos, films, letters and conversations with people who knew Mussert, including prof. ir. W. Schermerhorn, EJ Roskam, Florrie Rost van Tonningen, JG Krabbendam and mr. J. Zaaijer, a portrait of Mussert and his role in the Second World War According to the interviewees, Mussert displayed enormous national enthusiasm in everything he did, which prompted him to found the NSB in 1931. The NSB grew into a political movement that maintained close ties with Hitler's NSDAP.
