Wild Side plot
Stéphanie, a 32-year-old transsexual prostitute lives with the North African, Djamel, who also earns his living in prostitution. One evening she meets Mikhail, a Russian immigrant without a residence permit. She cannot and will not choose between the two men and the three decide to continue as a trio. When Stéphanie learns that her mother is seriously ill, the three of them leave their hectic life in Paris behind and move to the small mining town where Stéphanie's mother lives. The tenderness with which they treat each other and Stéphanie's mother contrasts sharply with the flashbacks of their Parisian life. Three lonely people meet and despite their chaotic lives, they find support in each other's arms.
