Der Joker plot
Several criminals were murdered by a professional hit man. The only trace he leaves is a playing card, the ace. Police suspect a new gang is trying to gain control of the area. Investigative agent Jan is the victim of a bomb attack when he is having dinner in the restaurant of his future father-in-law. Although Jan is paralyzed and temporarily suspended, he continues to investigate the case.
