Pas de Repos pour les Braves plot

First and foremost there is Basile Martin, a young man who dreams of Faftao-Laoupo, the symbol of the penultimate sleep. Basile knows that if he is still asleep, he will die and the problem is that at his age people still want to have their whole life ahead of them. Then there's Igor, another young man who works a little and who studies something vaguely... But he has no money and he is bored. And that is why he is devilishly interested in the history of Basile, even if he does not understand much of it. And then finally there's Johnny Got. He graciously does a bit of journalism, he plays sleuth and is quite a rascal. Things that don't concern him greatly interest him... and Basile's story fascinates him so much that he starts investigating it...
