Alan Conway quickly becomes a celebrity within London's upper class. He owes this not so much to himself, but to the fact that he poses as Stanley Kubrick when he was shooting for Eyes Wide Shut. Everyone believes him and he gets invited to expensive parties, makes all kinds of friends and has sexual relations... even though he doesn't look like Kubrick at all.
