The Beautiful Country plot
"An epic story of hope."
One of the consequences of the Vietnam War was the children GIs left behind with their Vietnamese friends. These women were discriminated against, treated as collaborators and their children abused. The story is about one of these children, Binh, who has to leave his village and move to Saigon. Finally, he tries to flee to America and look for his father.
