Four young women meet while waiting in Cannes harbor for their husbands and friends, who are serving on an American destroyer. When the ship has to change course unexpectedly, the women rush to Italy in an old, undersized car. Besides the reunion with the men, a few other surprises await the women.

Successor to Where The Boys Are in which Paula Prentiss and Connie Francis also participated. The script is taken from the real lives of women who follow their military partners in the Navy on a mission abroad. In addition to a nice comedy, it also has a truthful basis. It was shot in the south of France, so you can enjoy the beautiful views and the nice fleet (those pink lemons). It all remains nice and light and we hear the great voice of Connie Francis a few times. She was a very popular singer and this is one of a handful of films, all aimed at the teen market, in which she can be seen. This film has a beautiful dramatic theme song, just like the case with Where The Boys Are.
