Sengoku Jieitai plot

A Japanese army unit consisting of a speedboat, a helicopter and various army vehicles, all armed to the teeth, are on training. By some coincidence, they end up in a kind of twilight zone, catapulting them back to the time of the samurai. There they are forced to side with some warlord, who deploys them in a Japanese war.
