The Fear Chamber plot
"In the name of science he created ... The Torture Zone"
A scientist receives strange signals coming from beneath the Earth. He and his assistants discover a living rock that appears to be under a volcano. They take the stone to the lab and find out that the stone feeds on the hormones humans produce when they are anxious.
