La Vida Que Te Espera plot

The austere life of farmers is not made any easier by the strict European rules. Two neighbors get into an argument over a beautiful productive dairy cow. This quarrel gets out of hand and is fatal for one farmer. Rai, the son of the murdered man comes to the village for the funeral. Remaining farmer Gildo (Juan Diego) sends one of his daughters, Val (Marta Etura), to Rai to find out what he knows about the murder. Rai (Lois Tosar) shows his interest for the same reason. Gradually they discover the secret behind the murder. But more importantly, they discover true love.
