Flanagan plot

"His love does not kiss without his hatred"

Paul Flanagan spent eight long years in prison without ever hearing from his girlfriend and half-brother. The three of them had robbed a bank. Only Paul had been caught because the other two had fled - with the money. Revenge becomes his goal. He takes care of his former partners and then goes to his father's country house to carry out the last part of his plan. Based on the novel of the same name by Tim Krabbé.

Slow acting in a film with typical 70's shots and ditto behavior. Images of Brussels are beautiful. Furthermore, de Moor plays a person who seems to have lost his way and starts a revenge line from psychopathy. The whole comes out moderately, the core: what happens if you overplay your hand? Anne Wil Blankers and Petra Lasseur acte de presence. The novel is entitled: "The end of the beast" which fits the film better.
