"Bare your body, bare your soul."

As an artistic experiment, director Rodrigo Bellott made a huge billboard for RIGO BoSD underwear with a breathtaking young man on it, and placed it strategically on one of the avenues of the old part of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Within a month, the linked website received all kinds of questions from clothing companies about the rights of the clothing line. The billboard is a kind of common thread in the film; in a media-dominated culture, it becomes a symbol of the pressures the young characters experience from life-style, physical beauty, sex, class, race and power relations. There are five main characters. A poor Bolivian teenage girl is raped at a girlfriend's lavish party. A young Colombian man gets a free ride in a brothel. A wealthy young stud gets the shock of his life the night he leaves Santa Cruz and his girlfriend to go to college in the US. The cast is completed by a tough black student and a football player who earns extra money as a fashion model for underwear and has not yet come out.
