Camp de Thiaroye plot

In 1944 a large number of Senegalese, who fought with France in the Second World War, are repatriated to Dakar. However, they are not allowed to return to their native village, but are obliged to be housed in a transit camp. The poor living conditions lead to an uprising, which is, however, bloodily crushed by the French.
