Normaal: Ik Kom Altied Weer Terug plot
Normal has become a legendary band in its 25 years of existence. Their hard rock is simple, straightforward and pure. Five tall, long-haired men rage on stage like beasts and produce a wall of music that the real fans dive in with full dedication, they roar along with the lyrics, fill themselves with beer and tear each other's clothes off. The film is essentially the story of the band's charismatic frontman: Bennie Jolink. Jolink has lived for 25 years according to the clichés of the rural version of Rock 'n Roll: drink, motorcycles, accidents. Although it seems as if Rock 'n Roll gives eternal life, the now 55-year-old is forced to slow down due to health problems on the one hand and the psychological burden of those years on the other. Bennie Jolink looks back on an apparently successful life.
