Fararishtay Kifti Rost plot
According to an old belief from Tajikistan, everyone is accompanied by two invisible angels in their life. The angel on the right shoulder records your good deeds, the one on your left keeps track of the bad. At the end of your life it is decided whether you go to heaven or hell. Halima was abandoned ten years ago by her son Khamro, who went to try his luck in Russia. Halima fears that if she dies, her coffin will not fit through the narrow front door and will have to be lifted over the walls of the garden. That would be an unbearable humiliation. So Halima devises a ruse: she pretends to be dying so that her son will return to install the once-promised wide, decorated door. Khamro does come, but in order to make the trip he has to borrow money from scammers. He thinks he can pay off his creditors with the proceeds of the house, but things turn out differently when his mother turns out to be very much alive.
