Country of My Skull plot

"A South African Story of Truth, Love and Reconcilliation"

Black American journalist Whitfield (Jackson) is sent to South Africa to cover a hearing in which defendants will be asked to report on their activities during apartheid in exchange for amnesty. Anna (Binoche) is a white South African poet who radios the hearing. Touched by the stories of the abuses of white and black, the two become attracted to each other.
