L'Autre plot
Claire is pregnant. When she learns that she is expecting twins, she sinks into a sense of fear that she soon loses all control over. Her husband Pierre is powerless over his wife's neurosis. Together they decide to keep only one embryo. But from that moment on, Pierre, consumed by his guilt, turns away from Claire and the unborn child. He focuses all his affection on Laurent, a disabled boy of 20 who regularly visits his eye doctor's office. Laurent's touching personality brings a lot to the life of the tormented couple. Little by little, almost without words, Claire and Pierre rediscover their ability to love and manage to accept the difficult decision they had made together.
