Kronika Wypadkow Milosnych plot
1939. A war still seems far away for a group of young Polish Lithuanians. Witek hopes to pass his final exams so that he can study at university. However, he is in love with fellow student Alina, causing him to neglect his studies and fail his final exam. The young lovers then symbolically commit suicide and are subsequently awakened by the outbreak of the Second World War.
