Cooch is not loved in the mafia family because he values honesty. Ike gets along well with his father, the well-known black preacher Glorious MacArthur, but is in love with his stepmother. Oliver's father is likely to become mayor and realizes his political career is over when it's revealed that Oliver fathered a child with sixteen-year-old Candy.
